>According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the 16 contestants battling for an NXT contract are already signed to NXT.
>“They have all of these guys—I think 16 guys, right? I have the names in the Observer, you know that. But anyway, it’s 16 guys and they’re competing for an NXT contract. OK, and all 16 already have NXT contracts. They’re all NXT contracts and they’re fighting to win an NXT contract,” Meltzer revealed.
>He went on to explain how the competition aspect of WWE LFG is essentially scripted, making it more of a storyline than a legitimate contest. “It’s like they make this thing a competition and it’s like a work from day one. You know, all these people competing to get into WWE, chasing their dreams and everything—and every single one is already under contract. Many of them have been on house shows, almost all of them.”
