It was a different time back then. Hell, all the way up until the 90s, pen pals were a pretty normal thing. I had a couple when I was in first grade. One kid from Kenya and another dude in France. It was cool talking to them about Power Rangers and Pokemon

if you look up the men with the more uncommon names you can find listings in the same areas. Many people don't really move too far from the area where they grew up. Voter registration, other info, found a few of them easily. You should write them about their favorite wrestler and hobbies.
