He's retired.
After being the best manager in mid south and crockett, running the best American promotion of the 90s, planting the seeds of the attitude era, saving WWE from the attitude era drop off with Cena, Batista, Brock and Orton, being the only person to book ROH so it turned a profit, and gave us hours on hours of priceless recordings explaining wrestling history and every aspect of the business, let him rest.
If wrestling ever gets good again, it's going to be because enough Jim Cornette fans assembled into the same promotion. Thank you Jim.

Pretty much, he whines on his podcast about having to go to the fucking post office, he's never gonna be a publicly visible figure again, let alone one running an entire promotion
Only way it possibly happens is developmental based on Louisville where he's an authority figure on TV or a coach behind the scenes
I can't see him being an agent let alone a booker or anyone involved in running the thing, he's mentally unwilling and probably unable to deal with that kind of pressure anymore
