Jeff Hardy wasn't a jobber but fucking nobody started that ladder match with Taker thinking Jeff was gonna win, but some fucking how Taker and Jeff sold it, with a lot of help on JR losing his shit on commentary. There were two or three instances in that match where it looked like Jeff was gonna win.

He's not really a jobber, but Goldust vs. Randy Orton for Cody's job was a losing battle from the get-go. Randy was a champion heel, with Goldust being the underdog. Match starts off kinda dry, but Dustin was able to get the crowd really invested.

About a year after he beat Razor Ramon and became the 1-2-3 Kid he got a random one-off WWF Championship match against Bret Hart on Raw. They genuinely had people thinking that the title was going to change hands, even though 1-2-3 Kid had been pretty much exclusively beating jobbers while losing to the likes of Kwang and Bastion Booger before that.
