To be fair, what happened last year was shit too. First he wanted to be tribal chief, then he feuded with Cody for no good reason. It went so far that he made him bleed in the promo in the rain before Wrestlemania, then whipped him like a slave on night 1. Immediately after that, he trades belts with Cody and congratulates him...?

Also, I am glad they got rid of that belt he was carrying when he started this whole 'final boss' shtick. What was that even supposed to be? Why don't they just let him go out with the magical peppers?

Rock killed the feud on the Netflix premiere because he wasn't gonna be at mania, now he's available and he wants back in and so he ends up giving a retarded promo trying to make it make sense, then he jacks himself off about how great he is at the press conference and on social media
hell, there are still people that think the whole disaster from last year was planned

Before any follow up even got to happen from that press event thing for last year's Mania and before we even knew he was actually going heel he was on twitter pretty much spoiling the direction of it.
