He was actually great at making gimmicks and moving merch but kinda shit as a wrestler. That said, early Fined when he was ripped and juiced was kino, too bad he got fat again in like 2-3 months.

This. Fiend/Danielson at the Royal Rumble was the peak of his career. He was huge, Bryan was able carry him in-ring and the spookyshit was limited to outside the ring. Wyatt was good enough at promos and reinventing himself to be a big star, he just needed someone to put the breaks on him if went to far in a way that wasn't just burying him constantly.
