>>17150759The Healthcare wait times are brutal. To get basic tests done and see a specialist about anything it takes months if not years.
My wife has some health issues and we would have had to wait two years to see a specialist, she had to go to the er 3 separate times only to wait over 12 hours and get sent home with medicine that doesn't work. Our family doctor was useless and would take a week to two weeks just to get a phone appointment.
We moved back to her home country of Japan a month ago and she's already had several tests and has seen three separate specialist with a date for surgery in the near future. In Canada that would have taken 5 years while she was out of commission a few days out of the week.
Our Healthcare system is overburdened with "new Canadians" who scam and go to the er over things as little as a sliver.
