But also I think style death has hit the indies hard. Even in mainstream wrestling almost everyone is a good at everything wrestler, a high flying submission expert who’s also a precision striker and hardcore weapons guy. And then that hits the indies even worse cause everyone is also a death match guy who does comedy spots and does 50/50 offense exchanges with girls. We won’t get another Joe vs Necro cause everyone is trying to emulate both of them at the same time, but also AJ and Danielson too.
Also I think audiences have gotten too nice and it’s made indie guys lazy. Almost every CZW opening match got boo’d out of the building and looking back it those absolute no bodies weren’t any worse than your average nxt or aew guy. Never mind botches, if your moves just looked bad indie fans would shit all over you.
