The absolute best in the business were working class rough guys who talk shit and beat you up for a living. Regular folk, but people who also didn't fit into a normal society. Outlaw motherfuckers who don't give a damn what you think.
These pro athletes they've got today are yesmen who don't have a personality. The NFL and college ball locker rooms aren't what they used to be 30 years ago.
I suppose it's the biggest problem with all entertainment. It's too sanitised with squeaky clean people.
