She wanted her contract to stay frozen but she's past maternity leave and her injury didn't come from wrestling. I'm sure if she got cleared they'd sign her. But they aren't gonna keep paying a 150k-200k a year downside or whatever she was on when it's possible she'll never wrestle again.

There is a surgery that can make it a bit better. Once Steiner left WWE but before he came to TNA he got that done. But it only helps the symtoms but doesn't fix the issue completely. Steiner still says that he to this day stumbles twice a day. Here is Steiner saying what the surgery was.

"When I left I WWE, I had surgery on my foot. I had drop foot, where my foot was totally paralyzed. I had a tendon transfer & got nine screws in my foot. They broke my foot, took a bone graph from my hip & put it in my foot & put a plate in there. So now my foot is not 100 per cent, but it works so I can wrestle a lot better than I did."

Wrestling has a very weird parasocialism with its entertainers.
