just watched it, some thoughts
the lvl uppers weren't lying - kendal grey is basically christine benoit, she is gonna be a star and probably sooner than later; as soon as there's space on the NXT roster i feel like she'll be called. to me the concept of seeing grapply, technical bangers from a normal looking girl is really funny for some reason. her partner is not as dimes, thoughbeit. the commentators (based mr stone but the jew guy is cringe they should have got big E) kept saying they were the odd couple, but i really felt that about the other team. the flippy one impressed me, the black girl as well but less so.
i would have liked to see a little more offense from trill london in the squash match just to see what he can do, but i guess that defeats the point. but he can definitely be a jeff hardy/HBK type where he just gets the shit kicked out of him the whole match only to turn it around. the "alt/weird nigga" gimmick is always too forced, but what can you do? the giganigga was ok but i feel like we're kinda at our giganigga capacity for right now.
main event, i definitely liked swipe right, they've already got their gimmick figured out perfectly. their partner was decent too. cappuccino jones was my favorite of the faces, and i liked jack cartwheel, he looks like a dwarf and can do some really athletic things. the other guy was a competent worker but doesn't really have a character, i don't even remember his name.
all in all it was good
