Their fans really hated it and it seems like they actually pivoted for a change on the storyline.

I liked the idea of the story on paper, just I didn't think it should have gotten featured like a major feud.

He was a heater feud for MJF until Hangman and CD's feud was over. There's no use for him right now with Cope taking on the Death Riders and MJF involved with Hangman and possibly moving back into world title contention soon.
