Does anyone have any Pancrase/UWF/ShootWrestling webms? I've been really getting into this early JMMA that was this fun mix of Pro Wrestling/Catch Wrestling/striking and some really good mixed martial techniques that it took another decade or so for places like the UFC to really incorporate. I also just really like the aesthetic of pro wrestling style gear/kickpads and the open handed palm strikes.

I'm very pleasantly surprised as well. I was genuinely worried after the match against Makabe but what they did for this was really good. I'm happy with the post-match angle too. Not so sure about the Nagata challenge but not necessarily because I think the match will be bad. I just think it's a waste of this elevated spot Goto now has as the gatekeeper. At least it's a mid-tour challenge, the definition of filler.

I didn't hate his reign by any means, but I think most champions before and after him put on better matches. Very similar to Kojima's GHC reign in that regard, only I think Kojima's slightly less worn down. With both guys the best part of the reign was the resident fans Ooh-ing and Aah-ing at them for being from outside the promotion.

I'm half tempted to rename my Soya lariat webms to Ballistic which the move is actually called, but I literally do not know what separates it from a lariat aside from theatrics and half the time he skips them and just hits the lariat. Fellow Pancrase enjoyer here. They really knew what they were doing and had some of the best presentation in wrestling history. The logo was simple yet impactful, the belts were cool and the lighting of the shows made everyone look great (no homo.)
I don't have any webms but basically every first wave Pancrase show is on YouTube so there's plenty of material to work with if you have the time. Just YT search Pancrase and (insert year here) and you'll get tonnes of stuff.
