They got the game up to an acceptable minimum standard a few years ago and instead of fixing the things that are still fucked up (bad AI though all wrestling game AI is bad; weapon physics are way worse, slower and more restrictive than they were on the old games) they're coming up with new, grim monetization models. There are eslop dollhouse completionists who absolutely will pay them an extra $100 for action figure models or even ugly CAW parts

Played the MyRise a bit. I thought that by intergender MyRise they meant you’d play as a girl and beat up guys (or vice versa) but they’re just doing that thing again where you have to jump between two CAWs of opposite sex. I barely just started though so who can tell. Writing is the same campy and cringy bullshit from the past games

MyRise is even more awful than usual this year. Like always they have locked away some stuff that you can only unlock by playing through it, but this time you have to grind out star ratings for shitty randomized matches for certain rewards. I think it goes up until 280 stars in total and some matches have a time limit so that it's impossible to get 5 stars in them.

You can make two night PLEs, have multiple shows on the same day, tournaments, delete a weekly show for a week and replace it with a non repeating event, swap shows around without deleting them. Much needed improvements to the calender.
