Does anyone watch the AskCVV episodes of Chris’ podcast? He has the most mundane takes and does not offer a single piece of criticism towards anything going on in wrestling. It’s like he’s trying his absolute hardest to not rub anyone the wrong way.

That's generally how the media works though. They ask softball questions. They don't follow up on things or really ask anything of value unless they have a vendetta with you. It's why you can't rely on the MSM for news.
