How did they manage to avoid Vince's hate for short guys? Multi time world champs + top guys basically their whole WWE runs and always billed as credible threats

Kurt was a 1 in a million combo of athleticism + mic skills + in ring skills. He could shoot break your arm then cut a promo on why it was your fault and end up getting the crowd booing you, the broke arm guy.

He thinks its the FANS who wnat big guys so he gave the big guys to the fans. Which worked mostly in the 80s and late 90s.

Guys like Daniel Byan and more are even smaller than prime Kurt, so that's why its silly seeing 5 foot 6 dbry as champ.

Liking small guys isn't conservative or trad, so for you ... you are into lil boys.

I am rewatching AE WCW right now and Chris Jericho in 1998 was legit amazing on the mic plus he could actually work. You would see some weird shit with him every once in a while, but I chalk a lot of that up to Jericho being young and trying a lot of shit out to see what got over.

Chris was simply a generational talent despite what some demented little jew who has terrible taste in wrestling thinks.

It's been a while since I rewatched but iirc Kurt came in as a babyface "all american hero" that got booed relentlessly because it was 1999 and nobody wanted to see that. His career 100% got saved once Vince realized he was great at character work in addition to being a freak athlete. How many guys were known fighters/shooters who ended up midcard for life because they couldn't be funny/entertaining on the mic?
Jericho I think was Vince "proving" to WCW guys that he would push you even if Eric was fumbling you to put on another geriatric main event. Then he proved he could do anything and be entertaining so the push (mostly upper-midcard with main event flashes) continued on and off for years
