Michael Jackson is widely considered the greatest artist and performer of "modern times" by critics and music listeners alike, sold more records than anybody in the history of music and was even invited by royalty to come and play in their countries, all testament of how great he was. MJ fans didn't feel the need to tell everyone how great he was as his discography and live performances speak for themselves. Taylor, while not my type of music, must be doing something right if she can sell that many tickets, while she doesn't have the critics behind her the point stands still.
