Hulk Hogan’s Real American Beer meet and greet in Orange County, NY, turned into a major letdown for some fans after the WWE Hall of Famer reportedly left the event early, leaving kids in tears and attendees furious.
According to News 12, fans had lined up for hours, expecting to meet the wrestling icon. But as the event unfolded, those further back in the line were abruptly turned away.
>“I was there with my son and daughter. It was an exciting day, especially for my son,” attendee Robert Taylor told News 12. “They said he could only see up to number 200, and we were 185. My son had a little Pokémon card with him on it, and he wanted him to sign it. It was really quick. They just stood up and bolted along the back. Some lady was very upset, screaming and cursing. My son just started crying, and a bunch of other kids were crying.”
A video from the scene shows frustrated fans left empty-handed after waiting for hours, with many expressing disappointment over the way Hogan and his team handled the situation.
Taylor added,
>“If he had to leave, he could’ve walked down and shook people’s hands and said, ‘Hey, I’m sorry we have to get going,’ rather than just leaving people stranded.”
Hogan and his team have not responded to requests for comment.
Hogan may be a legend in the ring, but this meet-and-greet fiasco left some fans feeling like they took the leg drop instead. Whether it was a scheduling issue or just poor planning, the way things ended clearly didn’t sit well with those who waited for hours only to be turned away. With no word from Hogan’s team, fans are left wondering if he’ll address the situation—or just keep on posing, brother.
