That really is fucking sad. Not the graphic, it's actually fine, but the fact that AEW is blatantly copying the Wrestlemania sign point. And doing it for an event that'll draw under 20k people, no less. It's not even that deep. Tony is an edrone. He used to hang out at WWE shows and offer the wrestlers gifts to hang out with him. Everything he books is a copy of something he has seen before, like all inept creative directors. He pretends to be an wrestling expert because he reads Wikipedia articles and memorises the details, like all the internet marks do. He hasn't actually watched most of it. He's copying moments from major wrestling stories without any of the parts that set up the moment or made it important.

No, they obviously didn't invent "pointing at signs", but it's a very famous gesture associated with Wrestlemania, there were entire promos where not a single word was said other than pointing at the sign to set up the match. Now with that said, when I watched it, I didn't think much of it, and I only noticed it he "imitated" WM pointing when I came here to shitpost. It's stupid, but not the worst thing, the logo of the PPV is mad ugly though.
