Jokes aside I had a similar thing happen when I was a kid. My pastor told me wrestling was a sin and there were better outlets for my energy and creativity. Then he pulled down his pants, as you probably already guessed. I was raped for the next 4 years every time my parents brought me to church, which was sometimes 3 times a week. I was raped on Christmas Eve multiple times each year, which he called “a gift for him from baby Jesus”.
He caught Covid in the summer of 2020 and made the local news, since it was still novel enough and deadly enough to make the news. I went to go see him but they turned me away. So, that evening, I met the hospital janitor and told him what I was doing. He agreed with me and gave me his uniform and ID badge. I made my way into the hospital and into his room. He looked so weak and fragile. The hospital staff was so short staffed and stressed, they never noticed. But, as I pulled down my mask, my old priest noticed. I saw the look of horror on his face, then the understanding. And then, as I unplugged the ventilator, I saw the light fade from his eyes.
I felt nothing and still feel nothing about it, it was a task to be done. And I did it.
