booking from the hangman-cole feud in early 2022 through the summer of 2023. it was nonstop moxley jericho orange cassidy best friends slop and the mjf cole angle which had been the only thing over during that stretch was already wearing thin. it was really fucking terrible, and by the time it got interesting again between all in and wrestle dream it wasn't enough to bring people back. the phil debacle pretty much sealed the deal for aew being permanently second class, not because wwe is anything great but because aew is a fucking clown show. it's great for ppvs but absolute shit at everything else.
