Those numbers will always hover around there because that's as many wrestling fans that are left really. People go to shows because it's something to do but I doubt most of them are invested enough to watch weekly.

Why would anyone expect WWE's ratings to suddenly skyrocket just because they're on Netflix now instead of cable? It's not a like a new boom period is suddenly going to happen overnight.

Paul booking is predictable so watching it live does not really matter and I much prefer my wrestling entertainment to be polished, if this shit was not broadcasted live we could get a more polished product and remove the botches/make the superstars repeat the action and follow the script until it looks good on camera and then that is what i want to watch, also the fucking transvestite loving aew fans would make fun of us less

Well on paper, it's SUPPOSED to be a significant increase. Compared to the region specific cable, which the price could be much higher than you'd want, and you're paying for a lot of other shit you don't want, to Netflix, which is on the globally available internet for a much cheaper price, it should be a no brainer. But either the price of Netflix in outside countries is not worth it or people are just lazy or something, because WWE was technically available on "free TV". Now it's technically a "paid product". Granted, it's also now the cheapest way to view live PPVs, so it's worth the bundle, and you get access to movies and shit if you wanted. But I have no idea if it's really been that easy of a lay up like WWE wanted. It seems like it should be. But third worlders are retarded and usually broke.

Most of the big foreign markets aren't included in the netflix deal yet
Japan, India, Germany, France, South Africa etc are all still on their old deals and can't watch wwe on netflix
Royal Rumble cracking the top ten globally when the only countries that could watch it on netflix are the UK, Mexico, Canada and Australia was a good sign that people will watch WWE if they put on a show that's interesting enough

If a person could not afford cable, they were not watching WWE. Also you are paying for a lot of shit on Netflix you do no want too. This just means WWE was able to get their fans to make the transition over to Netflix. Only time will tell if they will be able to increase their viewerbase/fanbase.
