TKO is “not happy” with Mania ticket sales

Per mongo-ebooks on X/Bluesky:
>TKO management is not happy with how Mania tickets have stalled out. At this point, the show is just about a month out and it’s not even close to a sell out for night one or night two. Last year saw just over 60k a night, this year is closed to 45k on night one and only 38k on night two.
>Realistically, there’s very little WWE can do to improve ticket sales. They’re in a hot market (Vegas) that appeals to tourists. They just did a once in a lifetime heel turn. The fact that they can’t sell more tickets seems to show that interest in WWE as a whole is cooling off significantly.
>WWE also announced “The Roast of Wrestlemania” but, as of this moment, it’s being described internally as a “financial disaster” and may even be scrapped at this point due to only selling 31 tickets so far.
>HHH apparently has “some explaining to do” with the board of directors, and there is major discussion of a “mania rewrite” to try and boost sales last minute
