That's exactly why this match doesn't make sense. They were clearly already planning on Seth vs Punk at WrestleMania, but Roman needed something to do at Mania, so they burned that singles match at the Raw on Netflix premiere and randomly inserted Roman into the rematch. I'm sure the match will be fine (Punk and Seth will probably put on a great match while Roman is "knocked out" ringside) but it has absolutely zero stakes. At least say the winner gets a shot at a championship or something. A triple threat match makes no sense as a grudge match.

Idk, I think it's tiresome when every single match has to be for something. It's kinda lazy booking when you truly think about it - nobody has to worry about creating a story because it's for a title belt. Problem is, they now have 20+ belts. So who cares?

That makes me feel like McIntyre vs Roman rematch really was supposed to be the original plan for Mania until Roman said no, and that was the impetus for pulling the plug on McIntyre's hunting the Bloodline story.
