The fact that they did that with various titles even pre 90s but even the early 90s is crazy. Imagine the mind fuck for the longest time having a memory of a title change only you and whoever else was there got to see or a champion who wasnt a champion be a champion and defend their belt. They ran a lot of them back on tv later on wwf superstars since they were recorded, for example macho man losing to flair and then later Bret beating flair. The Steiner's also hot potatoed the tag belts on house shows to drum up interest

Sheamus beating Roman Reigns was a pretty big upset. Big Show vs Brock Lesnar at SS 2002 was also an upset because Lesnar was being groomed for a feud with Angle. Not any on free TV though
