HHH is gonna be punished for this. Mania weekend has consistently been an absurd financial success for the company, from the events themselves to the merch superstore to the conventions and several dozen other means of making other money from traveling fans. WM40 in Philly was a tremendous financial success that they couldn't stop congratulating themselves over. But I can't remember another time this event carried less interest one month out. Ari and Nick Khan aren't gonna pretend to be okay with this if it ends up being as bad as it's looking like it will be. HHH isn't likely to get fired but I can see him getting demoted from Head of Creative to one member of a committee of creative executives, the sum of whom will still not be able to equal one head-shitting wrestling genius.
