I was thinking about this and I'd convinced it is because of how expensive the tickets are now. It's like the house show thing where every title is on the line but now they are having to do it on weekly TV because these fans are paying insane amounts and getting spurned by these filler episodes.

They think that hot shotting the titles will drum up the interest which isn't there because of how horrible the build an card of this WrestleMania has been the reality though is that the only thing it does devalue the belts while popping social media for a night an harming the product long term
