One of things that was good about Vince is he never paid attention to social media. HHH is too afraid of social media making fun of something going badly to where he will not take any creative chances at all. He should not have even addressed this botch in the first place.

Yes and no. There's for sure a sizeable amount of people who are giving their honest thoughts but the console warring is just as cancerous here as it is anywhere and there are people who pile on if not just blindly parrot things because it's the promotion they do or don't like. The people in the seats will always matter more than the people behind the screens either way. As shitty as Triple H's booking has been, the live crowds are still eating it up. Until that stops being the case I wouldn't expect much to change

Oh I don't argue that for a second. Wrestlemania still isn't even sold out and it's a month away. It's already begun. The impact of the product on attendance won't show overnight but give it like 2-3 months and that's usually where it reflects back from. The crowds in the summer will represent where things are now booking wise

I think the live crowds will eat up practically anything they are given, especially since the tickets prices are so high now only the WWE diehards can even afford to go to these shows. TV/streaming viewers are another story though.

The dive over the top was a legit botch. The trip from the corner was a worked mistake. They saw the negativity Jey was getting and decided to incorporate that into the angle (Jey was already self-conscious in previous RAWs, they're just accentuating it more, now). They're trying to get people on Jey's side by getting him to admit he's fucking up and not #1 contender material. Smart idea, but it falls on Jey to actually put the work in to be better for everyone to accept him.
