The "what do we do with damage ctrl" saga back in mid 2023 made it clear vince was the better booker
I remember seeing pic related on the april 10 raw and wondered wtf had changed for them to suddenly do something interesting with them. Turns out it was just vince fixing the mess that triple h had made

Vince's late-term booking almost killed wrestling. It drove down attendance numbers and led to the creation of AEW. People are actually interested in WWE again with Paul being head booker. Vince's schizo booking was sometimes entertaining but he was never consistent enough with his overall booking for that to matter.
