No. Not everyone needs or "deserves" a world title run, especially in a business that is completely worked and as fake and gay as pro wrestling. The only person who "deserves" a main event title run is the guy who the guy promoting the show thinks might draw money.

I don't like the idea of pity championships. Especially now that the belts are actually worth something. I think he should bet his career for a title shot and lose. Leaving at the top of the card is dignified enough.

This. I was really hoping that after Roman, we'd get shorter title reigns but it's all been the same shit over and over again. If everyone has long title reigns, then none of them are special. If you know these belts won't change unless it's Summerslam or Wrestlemania, it devalues all of the PLEs.

Exactly. And the possible title changes are all incredibly obvious. Like there was 0 chance KO was beating Rhodes for the title. There was 0 chance Reigns was dropping it to anyone besides Cody in that entire year after he lost at WM, etc. It's incredibly boring. I've always been more of a fan of a competitive ME where title changes are always possible, rather than an unbeatable top guy with a really drawn out reign where you can always tell where a possible change could even occur.

The scarcity makes them valuable. The idea that people can go their whole career and not even touch it makes it valuable. If it rarely changes, it changing makes a PLE important. Short title reigns tossed around to everyone who asks get you the early 2010's WHC.

The biggest issue is having two champions. Trying to have two separate rosters under the same company. No matter what you do there are going to be issues. The best thing to do is not have two rosters.
