The idea that all wrestling matches, even just one-offs on TV meant to build up to more important ones on PPV, all have to be explained and built and aren't just inherently justified by the fact that it's pro wrestling and pro wrestlers wrestle each other because that's their job is probably the absolute worst thing about modern wrestling discourse.
