>>17375564Basic suplexes (like the vertical) are universal because everyone knows how to take them and they're big and loud, but they precisely aren't seen as match enders so they can be placed anywhere in the middle. They're great to cap off a segment to lead into downtime (heel heat, long selling stretches etc), to begin escalating the action in a shine/comeback/finishing stretch etc, to wear down the recipient or "work" the back/neck, or whatever else you can imagine.
It's more about having the visual cue to make you think "shit is really starting to go down now". They're my favorite moves and I am truly autistic about them.
