>>17375169The son of a plumber's son got his belt and finished his beloved and well-respected dad's story.
Has anything of interest happened since then with the other wrestlers?
Punk and Drew blew off in HIAC, so that's gone.
Rollins doesn't resonate as a wrestler and his promo's annoying.
Reigns has been prominently absent, perhaps for medical reasons, I'm just observing it here. Very little going on there.
The Bloodline got all its new members but it's pretty much dead in the water. There's interest in the Heyman-Punk connection but that's fresh and not a certified guarantee to make WM a must-see event.
That leaves the women. Enough said.
So what's the main draw for WM, really?
The only thing it has going for it once again is Cody Rhodes, and with John Cena things could've gone smoothly and swimmingly.
Then the Rock had to interfere and bring his stupid dissonant Hollywood shit to the table. Cena and Rhodes buried it by completely ignoring what happened in both their confrontational promos since EC.
Everyone saw it though. "Where does it go? What's the story? What the fuck is this about now?"
The Rock ruined a clean "I just wanna have the title shot brother" angle where Cena wins in a heel turn at WM that persists until it's time to surrender to the chase.
Because of the Rock, they blew their load too soon and popped the lid off of the thermos flask, and now they're entering WM without any tension.
