O'Haire, Jindrak and Dupree were good, they just needed time and direction to grow into headliners. 4/5 of the Spirit Squad could wrestle, biggest problem there is Mike Mondo is a midget and 2 of them got involved with Mickie James which killed their careers. Some of the more gimmicky guys could have survived in another era but unfortunately this was the era of generic OVW callups influenced by UFC's rising popularity.

Retard. 2004 Smackdown was absolutely rad. You'd get shit like Chavo Guerrero senior matches and Nick Patrick segments which are 1000x more interesting than anything else that's on WWE tv these days. The structure of the shows was dynamic and unpredictable at least.
I will agree that 2007 SD was the drizzling shits however.

There were a lot of talented guys, just they weren't used well or to their maximum potential. Dupree, Morgan, O'Haire and Tomko all could have names and people like Jindrak, Conway, Kenny, Lance Cade and others also had potential.

There were really trying with this guy, weren't they? Or at least trying to set him up to be an opponent for The Undertaker somewhere down the line. The gimmick of Mordecai had legs if he wasn't so much of a shitter. Thorn is only remembered because of the hot bitch he would come to the ring with and her rope-hanging entrance shit she did.He got the Marc Mero treatment where his valet was more over than him.

Jones went on to have an even better and more lucrative career in Hollywood. Jones was in Troy, Jones was in Mad Max: Fury Road. Its crazy where he shows up and always awesome when he does.

He did fine with what he was given and then the whole super gay gimmick in TNA backfired on him. He also has the distinction of being Ultimate Warriors last in ring opponent. Got married, had a girl, runs a wrestling school in Melbourne.

Booze has gotten to him and I hope he straightens out. Another unsung victim of Triple H's reign of terror and is bitter about it. I haven't seen it yet, but he recently had Teddy Hart on and Teddy went on a complete rant for a good 45 minutes straight. I know someone copied it before it got deleted. I want to see the whole thing just for the Ted kino.
