I don't get why he needs to go all the way to Napal. If he wanted to experience a frigid, unpeopled, sub zero wasteland all he need needed to do was turn up for a Collision taping. Climbing Everest isn't as dangerous as it used to be. It's been climbed so many times and there is so much infrastructure and support, it's basically just a lark for millionaires that want to pat themselves on the back that they climbed Everest (meanwhile all of the actual work is done by a team of sherpas and expert climbers).

Everest is only dangerous if you are a boomer or one of the porters that is constantly on the mountain setting shit up. The last paypig to die on Everest was some Kenyan that was trying to do it without extra oxygen which is craziwr than anything Darby is trying.
