Vaquer chose NXT over the main roster. Pretty sure she discussed this in some sort of interview. When she got signed they gave her the option and she went with NXT.

Ok, but you get my point. There are a limited number of women's wrestlers she can work a program with right now, unless you want to see her work with Michin or Zelena Vega. Other than the Rhea/Liv coom factor, how do you book her? You have way more options in NXT, like Fallon, Sol Ruca, Giulia, etc.

That's going to be hard as fuck, it would take years to grasp the English language and understand the cultural references needed to cut a decent promo for an American audience. The best any ESL wrestler can hope for is to learn enough English to deliver a well written scripted promo, and hope that people like Charlotte don’t go off script and bury you

Nah man, English is not that hard to learn when your native tongue is a European language, you just have to be fully immersed in it, read, speak, listen, watch, all day, everyday, it doesn't take even 3 years if you're serious about it, I know that. Depends on literary sensibilities sure, the more adept and elegant you are in your native tongue, the better you are at picking up vocabulary quickly
she seems to be able to give a coherent interview when she didn't sound like she could even patch together a sentence 6 months ago, it's probably not hopeless

I guess I provided some shitty examples. But you have simple gimmicks that got over without promos in the past. Taker. Kane. Crow Sting. Sexy evil succubus is just as good a gimmick as the Undertaker's gimmick. Delivering a good promo would help, but she's still gonna be one of the biggest main roster stars without it.

She said she was given the choice and at first chose to debut on the main roster. She said after thinking about it for a bit she changed her mind because she felt she needed to work on some things before being exposed on the main roster, for good or bad.
It seems like they've been doing that, offering people the choice. Maybe Penta and his brother should have chosen to work in NXT for a bit, but it is what it is. Penta is doing solid work on Main Event and I'm sure Rey will be joining him soon enough.
