Probably MJF. I could see him getting to WWE, floundering in the midcard for a year or two, gets upset he doesn't get special treatment in WWE, then goes crawling back to AEW.

Then again, I'm not so sure Tony would let one of his favorite toys get away. If there's ever truly a bidding war over MJF, Tony would probably just give MJF whatever he wants to get him to stay.

Yeah. And then anyone else like Jericho, Christian, or Edge are all nearing the end of their careers anyway. If they do leave and go back to WWE, which I think is plausible for all 3, then I don't see them going back to AEW after. Even the Hardyz are in a similar spot
I think this isn't something we see until maybe 5-10 years from now. AEW has slowly been building their own roster now. None of 'their' people have really jumped yet, let alone been gone long enough to jump back

I wouldn't call her a big name, but yeah, it'll probably be Jade. She's already upset WWE doesn't give her star treatment and most of the women's locker room doesn't like her because she can't work for shit, yet still thinks she's better than everyone. She has a big enough ego that she'll abandon Cody if it means going back to AEW to work her 2 minute squashes again.

I can't imagine Cody ever doing it since they've made him their ace and let him mainevent 3 wrestlemanias in a row but he'd really be the only interesting one.

I expect Cody to be in WWE for at least five more years, but he'll probably have at least a stunt in AEW just to finish the story. Him "taking back his company" would be a pretty solid storyline.

Cody might do it if Paul lines up a guy to take the reigns off Cody first. Cody was just really hung up on the idea of getting the belt Dusty never held. I could see Cody getting attached to the idea that he needs to retire in the promotion he helped start.

The thing WWE has going for it is that they're literally a retirement home. They have so many opportunities and jobs for people after their in ring career is over that everyone wants to stay on good terms with them and end up back in their system just for the paychecks.

So until AEW figures out a system where retired guys get stuff like a WWE legends deal, all roads lead back to WWE.
