This has no pay off, this has no connection with tonight’s event . If anything Swerve just solidify what Booker T said about him by losing the match, he sucks. You’re crying about another man in another promotion . You’re mad that your “hey guys I’m black!” Gimmick got exposed.

Unironically this. Cancel Culture is AEW's greatest weapon. Anyone looking to pick a fight with AEW should expect to get cancelled by AEW wrestlers, AEW-biased "journalists" and AEW fans. Hulkster also got cancelled by AEW first. This is how it starts and eventually the whole internet picks it up, including WWE fans. It may take years but Booker T is now in trouble.

To which Booker T answered in return in a podcast, after having met Swerve at some event and talking with him about the whole thing. Basically, Booker called out Swerve for being pitched against a fellow black man on the issues about racism, how Booker T handled said issues and opened doors for other black wrestlers, the hypocrisy of the taboo around the N-word and how he understands that Vince's infamous skit was just a skit, fiction.
