No one except Sheamus who was up and coming during his era really got pushed beyond the midcard. Masters, Carlito, Nitro and MVP all got botched in various ways.

I never really got why they didn't give him a chance. He had a good look and was super athletic. I was surprised AEW wasn't that interested in him either when they were getting started.
