the current schizo theory is that, after netflix forced roman/solo early instead of building to it at mania, they were going to do drew/roman and have drew go over but roman refused. so they had to put this together in the last month and some change, while having roman third wheel seth and punk.

Its the only thing that makes sense. HHH likes his long, slow story telling. Drew making it his mission to take down the Bloodline once and for all made perfect sense and they had him going for them one by one. The obvious endpoint was Drew vs Roman, fighting for his Bloodline, fighting for his tribe but all alone. It might have even been a good way to get Rock vs Roman started off. HHH wouldn't drop that unless he was told to or had to because people were refusing to do it.
