Well first of all. Priest is a charisma vacuum and he shouldnt even be on the card. I would honestly take Drew vs Punk for the millionth time if it meant Drew finally went over (yeah not going to happen lol). And its Jey fucking Uso. Pudgy samoan number 25 for the millionth time against Gunther and guess what, nobody gives a shit about it. Gunther hasnt had a storyline which doesnt involve samoan shitheads for almost a year. I would be pretty fucking bored too to do the same fucking match 50 times a year. Those are the reasons they complain, and those are also the facts. Their opponents are shitters and well, Gunthers title is more of an afterthought anyway

Yes? How do you think momentum shifts? It's not all in one instant. If WWE turns to shit creatively again and enough guys get pissed and leave when their deals are up, I'm sure Tony would be happy to pay whatever someone like Drew would be asking. That happens with enough big names and now AEW has more and more working in their favor. If you are Triple H, just because you can do whatever you want doesn't mean that's the smart thing to do. The same would apply the other way around as well. This is why it's great for the talent to have viable options

I don't think so. Roman/Solo couldn't survive three extra months of build. Punk/Seth clearly had more gas in the tank as evidenced by them going back to it after the debut. I think it was clearly set up for Roman/Drew but someone or something changed that plan.

How would that effect their match? I'm pretty sure Cody/Cena was the plan even before Rock came back. If the dirtsheets are to be believed Rock wanted Cody to turn heel so it'd change the dynamic of that match but none of the others. The only thing that sort of makes sense would be Roman shot down the Drew match so they had to scramble to third wheel him into Seth/Punk and Drew gets Priest because he has to do something at Mania.

Drew vs. Priest was seemingly decided on the week of the Rumble, but prior to that he had cut a promo threatening to target CM Punk again in the Rumble but that all got scrapped.

Roman didn't really have a reason to feud with Drew with no title involved and also cause they already had a match with each other at mania a few years ago, it wouldn't feel fresh.

Idk what Drew is yapping about cause it never looked like he was going to main event given how he's been getting booked since HiAC

Depends on the contract. The right deal with AEW is better than a WWE contract. Less dates, less bumps to take or you can work indies, NJPW, Mexico on top of AEW for more money and exposure.
