Hunter won't care because the match will (exceedingly likely) take place in Japan where WWE's influence in minimal and having Cena go and take out NJPW's ace would work help his heel persona somewhat regardless of what happens at Mania.
However this arrangement would likely lead to NJPW severing their relationship with AEW in favor of potentially partnering with WWE/TKO. Which would potentially lead to NJPW being treated like WWE's bitch in regards to them putting over WWE talent, but that's no different to what they're currently doing with AEW so I doubt they'd fucking care.
The only party losing out here on a partnership like this is Tony and AEW - so if it happens Tony's odds for winning KWABOTY for 2025 will be unbeatable
