This was absolutely the truth a handful of years ago. Any and every indie has got their tongue out waiting to lick the boots these days though. Especially with this WWEID bullshit going
It was always funny when indies would run off the 'fuck WWE' mentality just to leech off of the crowd Mania would draw in to whichever city it was in though. I do give Tony credit for specifically keeping his distance and not running anything in the area. I think he did that last year too

Every event from Wrestlecon to GCW to any and every indie you can think of has piggybacked off of WWE and Wrestlemania for the longest fucking time. None of the shows happening in Vegas across the next week would be happening where and when they are if it wasn't for the crowd Wrestlemania is drawing in
