she bet on herself signing a 2 year contract with aew. in those 2 years she went from never being on tv before to becoming one of the top women in aew and a pretty significant name as far as women goes in all of wrestling. she put herself in the best spot she could. either have tony throw a blank check at her and stay or go to wwe and be their biggest aew steal yet. can't hate on it at all

She used to already work with WWE Shop true. Even if you ignore all of that I wouldn't be surprised if she left AEW. She was world champion and won it in her hometown on their biggest show of the year. She's never going to have a title win there that could surpass that. Her last appearance was finishing up the universally praised story with Toni that spanned her entire AEW run. No matter what she jumps into next there's not going to be any topping that either. Surely not in AEW right now given how Mercedes centric the division is becoming. So what better time to start somewhere new? Countless people have said she'd be a star in WWE and I see that too. Her mindset for wrestling is much more WWE-geared than it is AEW's typical style. If she goes there she's immediately the best talker on the women's side of things. It'd be interesting

the thing is she was only on a 2 year entry level contract with aew. so even if wwe doesn't offer her as much as aew might then she'd still be seeing an increase regardless. tony really fucked himself on this one because the only leverage he has is money. meanwhile wwe can still give her more than her current aew deal is worth plus every other advantage they have in their favor

I couldn't argue that more. If anything WWE desperately needs some new women to step up and Mariah would be an instant main event level name who can already do great mic work and storytelling. You could place her anywhere. NXT, in the tag title picture, either of the midcard belts, or straight into the world title scene
