It's time for New Japan to do some poaching, frankly. If they can't get Takeshita from AEW full time, they should focus on other guys who have ability in other companies like Higuchi from DDT, maybe even guys like Kaito from NOAH, and Anzai from AJPW.
They don't need any of the guys they poach to be THE GUY, necessarily, but they should play the role of powerful gatekeepers for the next generation, kind of similar to how Choshu was used against Hashimoto in 89/90.
