I swear Meltzer sits down to every AEW match assuming it's going to be at least 4 stars and then adjusts accordingly. This is even worse than his obvious NJPW bias everyone made fun of in the 2000s-2010s. It's been impossible to take any of his ratings seriously since the '90s.

There have been WM's where there wasn't a single good match. There were two objectively all time great matches and some really good midcard stuff. I would even argue there have been worse main events like some of brock and Roman shit but yea cena and cody was one of the worst for sure. Still, it probably ranks somewhere in the middle compared to every other mania
