Cena basically doing the Austin turn, where he's outmatched and sells out because he doesn't believe he could do it, but NEEDS to win the match (since it's his last year).
Rock fucked all this shit up, and then HHH apparently only had that singular plan and never bothered to deviate. I still don't understand why Rock would want Cody to turn, when the company spent three years building him as a face, and Rock was already a fucking heel that pinned him last year. He basically shat on everything because he didn't get his match at 40, then this year specifically wanted to face Cody but he wanted to be face and beat him again.
