>>17561513Anon you're right but I don't think anybody thought of Blair Davenport that way including WWE themselves, she had a decent run in nxt, was somewhat over with the fans and was being tested by wwe in a few segments with Bayley, she didn't get over and so she started being used as enhancement talent since she was a solid in ring performer and could help put some stars over, but felt like a knock off Paige overall with no gimmick of her own and struggled to connect with the fans hence why both parties were ok with her leaving wwe, another example of this is Santos Escobar, decent run in nxt somewhat over with the fans, gets drafted to main roster and gets a few opportunities to showcase his potential and get over with the fans, doesn't get over, so they give him one last chance by letting him turn heel on rey mysterio, it works for a little bit of time but the crowd quickly goes back to not caring for him since the heel turn feels cheap, like a flash in the pan, and Santos still lacks aura, charisma and character, almost as if being around a bunch of lucha people (mainly rey mysterio) is the only thing that ever made him interesting, not Santos himself, now he's still leading his lucha jobber faction and helping enhance talent (like Rey Fenix) and when his contract ends it probably won't be renewed, point is anon some wrestlers will be drafted as aura having charismatic confident favoritism having stars, others will need to be tested first, others will just be there to be jobbers mostly, sometimes people can think of a wrestler as someone who will make it, they don't, sometimes the opposite, sometimes everybody knows they'll obviously make it, sometimes the opposite, and it's fine anon
