Name one martial arts gimmick that drew. Not got "over" meaning you liked their matches and a quarter of the crowd made noise, I mean actually main evented the top of the card that sold out the house and made coin. The closest I can think of is the Great Muta for his tag match w/ Terry Funk vs Sting & Flair at Halloween Havoc '89 but in hindsight, should I consider it? In 1989, the only thing people cared about was Hogan vs Savage.

The movie itself explains why this fight happens: to force the audience to accept Cliff as a tough guy. People got really bent out of shape that they depicted a six foot 200 lbs man as being able to throw around someone five inches shorter and 100 lbs lighter.

When Gene LeBell got hired as a stuntman on the Green Hornet he thought Bruce was too serious, so he picked him up in a fireman's carry and ran around the set with him on across his shoulder while Bruce screamed that he was going to kill him once he put him down. Bruce was a fake tough guy bitch, Chez could probably take him.
