>>17587524To clarify something at first: We don't talk like /dbs/, /dbs/ talk like us and make their own lingo by adding some of our lingo. I'm not complaining tho.
As for the obnoxiousness, I'm about to break kayfabe; This is because we like to imagine ourselves as wrestlers trying to cut promos to draw dimes, and yet we are aware that it's all a work. We can be faces, (good guys that are ment to be cheered.), tweeners, (between heel and face.) heel, (bad guys that are ment to be booed.) Over the time, it became a trademark and a huge part of our shitposting and meme culture in /pw/. As for the guy that worked the Korean into a shoot, it is because he must be playing babyface for now and the Korean was heel. I gotta check /jp/ to see the melty, I won't understand shit about your Chinese cartoons, but I sure do love a good melty.
I will add something about the "tribalism"; /pw/tists like me, have a huge love for fighting and trolling, if they see they can troll someone and work them into a seethe, they will without hesitation and they will use anything to make you lose your composure. We may be seen as tribal because we stay in our own board and once we go out in another boards, we make ourselves known. We also love to tag-team when we have the occasion on another boards or chans and wrestling lingo deeply help to distinguish a /pw/bro. We also have this mentality of nobody can pick on my little brother but me, that may be one of the other reasons you see us as tribal.
